Steadiness

There is a steadiness that the Lord desires to call forth in each of us. He wants to take infants who praise Him and grow them into pillars who stand firm in His house. Over the years as we journey closely with the Lord and continually give Him our yes, He will cause us to be rooted in depth and strength – to be ones not easily swayed to and fro. Then, we will grow into a mature Bride, and be clear prophetic voices for the shaky days ahead. As we lean on Him, we will become strong shepherds after His own heart – people who can firmly lead, fight and champion His causes.

Therefore strengthen the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees, and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be dislocated, but rather be healed. (‭Hebrews‬ ‭12‬:‭12-13‬ NKJV)

Give us steady hearts Lord. Grow us in maturity and strength. Ground us in the fear of the Lord and root us in the word of God. Like the wise man who built his house on the rock, let our lives be built on sure foundations, so that we will be able to withstand in the waves, and having done all, to stand.
